Boris Vallejo, born in Lima (Perù) and emigrated to the United States in 1964, is considered to be one of the masters of modern fantasy illustration, with a tremendous following in the genre. His works, characterized by unmatched fine details and vivid colors, feature sword and sorcery, space travel, heroes, fantastic creatures and, obviously, sexy and erotic amazing female characters. Julie Bell, Vallejo’s wife and a highly-regarded fantasy illustrator in her own right, often serves as the model in his paintings and the couple often collaborate in their creations.
